Damn, seems quite the party.
I just moved to LA (echo park area) from San Diego, and been hearing some good things, and bad, about the standard.
When are usually the good times to come check it out and how is the entry at the door. Things such as dress code, cover, etc.
I'm trying to find out more spots with electronic music, but so far from my travels from SD to LA, Avalon and Vanguard are my only go to spots. That, and a couple Massives here and there.
So if anyone could enlighten a new resident to LA, about the standard please do! |

standard really depends on who the promoters are, it's a venue where the staff can be quite rude, but it's as cool/unique a venue is there is in the country. selfishly i suggest the events that myself and droog promote there (especially if you like the pics from our party this past sunday)
we're doing a party there sunday sept 7th with magda that will be the bees knees. |
