| Anyone go? The schedule collided with Virgin Festival. But its also a fun event to see if your into anime/manga and dressing up in your favorite anime characters. |

I went, and it was a pretty nice time. Got a few pictures on my phone, including the Kool Aid man posing next to a Rick Astley cosplay. Some of the panels I went to were pretty good - one on the Overclocked Remix group (they remix videogame music), showing how they build and sequence a remix, and another on Falcom, an obscure videogame company I really like. There was also a dance party, which had a bit of an oldskool rave feel (with everybody dressed up, and spinning around glowsticks), but the music ran the gamut of decent (tech trance) to scouse/Jpop hybrids mixed like a trainwreck. |

| On my way back from the festival, I saw two cars with washable paint saying, "Otakon, or Bust" and, "Honk if you're going to Otakon". I would've tried to go early in the day or something if I knew in advance. |

| Moby was supposedly on my train back from Baltimore -> NYC but I didn't get to see him. |

Almost seems like every time I randomly travel there is an anime convention going on :o I knew a few people online that I never met in person yet were going to Otakoun too but never hit me that I would be close to them :( |

| ^ Word. Haven't been into anime so much anymore since I've been focusing on music. But it's good to check back on things. |
