Was hoping someone can recommend something for giving a nice prestine shine to my 1210's. Aint used them in a while, so they have gathered some dust and look a bit grubby.
Thanks in advance |

| I would also like to know. It's very difficult to dust in the tight spots near the base of the tone-arm. Would a simple dust wand be the best tool for this job? |

| i got big pants |
| i use one of those swiffer dust off things...they do a pretty good job of getting the dust in those small crevices. |

| Anyone know of a method of cleaning pitch sliders of 1200's and if they've achieved improvements from it?? |

I've heard (but have yet to try) compressed air if you don't want to disassemble the whole deck. |

Compressed air is what i was thinking about as well... You can either buy one of those spraycans with compressed air, or use a compressor (carefully, ofcourse). It will get most of the dust out of there, but probably not everything... |

I used compressed air. But I also used Windex. I sprayed windex into a soft cloth, and wiped the deck. Hehehe Than I also wiped the platted and the pitch. They got shiny again.

| Cheapo way to clean those difficult areas is to get a cotton bud (preferably one of the pointed ones) the put some polish on it and scrub away. Works a treat but can take a while |
