I didn't realize fabric was so in expensive. The better the quality the more you pay quite obviously but I found some spots in Corona and Jackson Heights that have a great selection and low prices but no one speaks any english there so its a little difficult to explain what you want if you don't bring a translator. I speak basic spanish but not enough to request anything complex.
You probably don't want to travel all the way to Queens for the fabric but I can give you the address if you'd like. |
well, i'm in philly so queens is a bit of a hike for me haha.
i actually found a place right on the opposite corner of my block! gonna call them in a min and see what they have.

I'm making a toga for a party this Friday (yea yea I know toga parties are cliché, but i wanna do it right.)
Thanks for the offer Steven, but it's a really simple thing, basically a piece of cloth cut into a semi-circle and hemmed up with a trim. Nothing in=depth.
Party might actually be canceled, so might not need it after all. Waiting for confirmation.
