#1 at Beatport right now. Bog standard "progressive house" - which is a nice way of saying totally ing generic tech-gressive that sounds like just about every other bad record we've heard for about the last three years.

Is it me, or does this seem to be happening more often now than before?

I know stuff like this has been released for years - but at least when we just had vinyl it was relegated to ty bootleg vinyl pressings.

I can't believe people play this , let alone actually pay money for it...

The thing that bothers me the most is these twats not giving any credit to the original artists.

It's just as bad as Scooter, DJ Mystic, etc...

What's up with these re-hash of classic tunes..chime, children, born slippy... there's also a yeke yeke and rock to the beat remix in the top 20 now and don't forget the Deadmau5 remix of Cafe Del Mar....

Wow. Thank God I've been blindsided by the amount of GOOD music being released right now and haven't had to endure almost any of those.

That Children remake is probably the most guido tune I've ever heard in my entire life.

Michael Woods' 2008 mix of Cafe Del Mar under the Out Of Office guise comes very close IMO. :nervous:

That thread should have been created already 1 year ago, since that crappy DJ Joe K version was released back then

It's #1 today, and I was looking for ty remixes of classic tracks a year ago about as hard as I am now.

Terrific addition to the thread though. You are just spectacular.

These talentless hacks don't have any ideas of their own so they decide to cash in on remaking the big anthems.

Who needs credibility or talent, eh?
