i was just thinking at werk as they were pumping out Lasgo - Something at full blast on their comercial trance shop tape and was thinking that although the actual choon is so suck ass it would suck more ass than like pop music the vocals kicked ass, and that they really derserved to be sampled on a much better track#
coversely i was thinking that paffendorf - be cool was actually quite a neatchoon cept for the really dodgy vocals, can u think of any others that are like this cos there are plenty out there |

Yeah Lasgo's singer is pretty good. Their music could be better, but I'm not complaining too much. I like the classic synthpop beats of the 80's so I like this too.
VNV Nation is cool too. |

| Flip & Fill and also Mirco de Govia have made descent remixes of Lasgo - Something.. also Peter Luts remix is far better than the original. W.O.S.P. remix is a calm, chilled version.. |

| Lasgo have done quite a few tracks , if you listen to Lasgo - Pray then you will here the vocals , maybe she can re-sing southern sun. |

I think the Flip & Fill remix of Something must be one of the best versions around..
Oh, and I definitely agree that Paffendorf's vocals to Be Cool are seriously dodgy... |

the vocals sound totally out of place for the track, thats why i never lsiten to it, even though i absiloutly love the razor sharp melody it has near the end. |

| i have lasgo - something (positiva inc) release on vinyl and im not dissapointed. although orig mix is a bit poor, the other ones (flip n fill and 2 others) are pretty killer, one is nice and housey, the other one is also pretty chill. i dun think it qualifies as cheese. |

some r good like neo cortex - elements [dj's @ work remix]
but songs like ian van dahl r crap
i quite like the absolom remake of castles in the sky, they totally ripped the vocals out, which was quite a nice treat :) |
