Has anyone used these before? I've reading up on them and I'm fuzzy on whether they will isolate sound enough to be useful when playing on a big system where isolation is pretty crucial as a result of phasing etc.

From the looks of it, I wouldn't trust these in a club environment - I'd stick to the usual suspects! |

Serious noise bleed both incoming & outgoing. A friend of mine uses them, and he's even given up on travelling with them.
Great for home use, but that's about it. |

Thanks Jer. That was my first instinct as well... I've just heard they have stellar sound.

No worries. :) I'm hardly an expert on the subject, but I'd imagine in a club atmosphere the focus would shift from sound quality to isolation and accuracy, so my picks are the Sony MDRv700 and Technics RP1200. |

It's widely understood that the 1200s are discontinued, simply sub in 1210 in your head and everyone's happy. |
