Has anyone used these before? I've reading up on them and I'm fuzzy on whether they will isolate sound enough to be useful when playing on a big system where isolation is pretty crucial as a result of phasing etc.

| They are open cup and definetely not made for listening in a club, there is verrrry low sound isolation. Great for enjoying music in a quiet area or even on a bus or something, but definitely not reccomended for use in a crowded club DJing. |

| ive used something grado *70*-modell something and the sound is great. tho it cannot play loud, not bassy and it does not isolate as some said. for a dj this is not good, but for producing definitly. |

i had grado sr-80.
man those were some good listening headphones, only problem was that the cups sat right on my ears and would hurt after a long time of listening which it usually was.
