First Song: Potential? *Revised*

Hey there, i recently posted a thread here and attached my song, but i revised it and i think it sounds a little better. if you are a busy person then please, skip through this, but if youre just browsing around and dont have anything better to do than crtique an amateur, then please, critique me.
Since this is my first song and ive only twiddled with fruity loops studio for a few days i cant possibly make a song that sounds professional, as i dont know how to use anyhting in the program other than the piano roll the channel window and the pattern window. im going to attach the project file here so you can see what i did (not much) but ive been getting a lot of good words about it for what it is. If you have any suggestions in which direction i can take what im doing it would be greatly appreciated. for example if you justl ooked at the project file and tell me that another program might be better for me or something. Doesnt matter, just listen to the song and tell me what you think =)
its a drawing board of ideas really, i just have to stretch it out and mess with each riff along the way.
and by the way this is supposed to be closer to psy-trance/psy-bience/acidy sounds.

You can sure tell you are using Fl , alot of standard sounds in there (styrus), as a next step , you need the likes of some vst or synth , gonna cost you tho , but your starting out , and youll get better in time ,
check out my tunes , all done in FL , but i use softsynths instead of the built in stuff |

I actually already checked out your music =) one of them you said you made on vacation which was pretty damn crazy =X youre real good.
mind pointing me in some direction? i hardly know anything about anything....like i said i only used the piano roll and the pattern wndow. i dont even know how to use FL's mixer or any mixer for that matter. i just jumped into the program and made this. |

Thats all i use to be honest , each channel assigned to its purpose eg kick , hihat, etc
then the riffs , melodies i use the piano roll,
The mixer - you open the window with all the channels in and select the oval green dot next to the channel in which you want in the mixer.
go to the mixer and in the first channel of the mixer(insert 1) , right click on your mouse and it should say on the menu that pops up ,Link selected channels > To this track
Then its in there |
