Good God I am an idiot. I went to starbucks with my friend, sat there for two hours talking... and then when we got ready to leave, I went to my car and realized I had left my keys, IN MY CAR, WITH THE CAR RUNNING.
And I have two spares, one I gave to my mom, one I carry in my purse, but of course yesterday I threw my purse in my car, my key flew out, and I decided I'd find it later.
My friend (nicely) drove to my moms work in traffic and got my key (which took two hours).
I'm all buzzed on coffee and stressed and pissed at myself.

Someone could break in and just take the car. OR claim it was theirs and have someone help them open it, and just take the car. Plus like she said, 4 hours of the car running is quite a bit of gas. Yes it's "just gas" but gas isn't cheap. |
1. insurance.
2. gas is $4/gallon. at idle, your engine is doing around 800 RPMs. i don't know how much that would be in gas, but i doubt it's more than $20. there are much worse things out there to worry about than $20 worth of gas  |

cuz like that is annoying when u go for some coffee and ur all like "laa dee daa ok time to go home...oh ! god damnit!"
:stongue:
for me, it wouldn't be so much about the gas but more about the waste of time. |

You've obviously never dealt with a stolen car. |

i dunno when i want to go home and i have a plan (even if it's just to go home and play with my dog) i get pissed if something gets in the way of it.
it really just depends on the sort of day i'm having though. sometimes happens and i'm like, "eh..oh well" and other days i'm like, 'NO DAMNIT!" |

This story is neither long, nor does it have anything to do with starbucks. I want my money back! |
