I got a demo of the missing sync for blackberry (i have an 8130 pearl)
pretty much everything is working except for when I try and sync an itunes playlist with my BB.
one message i get is that "The Music plugin will be skipped. The device must support external memory cards, and the card must be mounted, to sync music."
i have a 4 gig microsdhc chip or whatever. its in there and all that. i dont understand
another message i get is "Error reading from device (e00002ed)
Error communicating with device: device failed to acknowledge handshake. (0)
Synchronization cancelled due to error. Could not connect to device."
am i having legit issues here or am i just not getting something obvious?
any positive feedback would be appreciated |

Are you trying to do this through Roxy Media? If so, that's your problem... that program is so ty that RIM is discontinuing their association with Roxy.
If you have Mass Media Storage enabled then your BB should show up as an external drive when you connect it to your computer... just copy and paste the playlist. |

It doesn't show up as an external hd on my Mac. I'm thinking ill just use a friends pc and it'll be easier |

I am sure it is there, you just have to access the BSD subsystem and mount the flash drive. ;) |

I think it has something to do with 'sdhc' card.. this is relativly new and lot of softwares are not yet compatible with reading sdhc cards.. try doing the same thing with normal/regular 'micro sd' card.. if it works than its definatly 'sdhc' card prob and you need to get back sd cards. |

It is not a CARD nor a software problem by any means. It is a hardware issue if SD is able to be read, but not SDHC. Just like the first hardware released to read SD cards can't read SD cards over 512mb because sd 1.2 or whatever is what allowed for cards up to 2gb. ;) |
