Accounting Dept Woes?

I ing hate accounting at my work.
We have what you call simple accounting... Punch cards and then the accountant does the math by hand how many hours you do and then prints out a check. Apparently we are too bad and dumb of a company to use direct deposit which is what most brain powered companies do...
Now onto my problem. They are ing retarded and loose my checks/and or punch cards and I have to deal with hassle almost every pay roll. It is terrible and the ironic thing is I set up the printer for them to print out the checks (no I didn't up the printer). I always have to write down my hours and and fight.. sigh.
do any of you guys have pay problems or is it all direct to you guys? |

| I had a payroll person let me go from my current job because I wasn't scheduled for weeks. He didn't know I was on vacation, the tart. Was a hassle to get back on. |

You need to go to management and inform them about the serious lack of productivity on your part because of their lack of simple investment in direct deposit and computerized accounting software. If they've got you accounting by hand, I wonder what other horrible things they do, which affect productivity badly. |

I have to go through hoops to add my time. I have to visit a website with the use of my RSA token to get in. Basically its a one time use password that changes every minute. After that i have to go in and add my time that day. GOD HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T ENTER YOUR TIME THAT DAY.
whether you worked that day or not, time has to be inputed, such as vacation time. If you don't add your time that day, you will get calls and email telling you if you keep forgetting to add your time you will get fired. At the end of the week, the total hours my company must pay me HAS to be at least 40 hrs per week. If your time is below 40 hrs, more emails and phone calls. |
