Sup peeps, well im wondering what you guys would recomend i get. I just baught a Roland RS-5 keyboard (synthesizer), but i dont know what programs to use for beats, or if i should get a drum machine or not. Right now all i got is the Roland RS-5, if you guys know of any good additions i could get for my midi keyboard, to make songs, or any hardware that would help make nice tunes. Let me know, thx.

RS-5 is a nice allrounder, tho you may need an extra drumbox (but for starters just a RS-5 is fine)

Sequence it with....a sequencer! there's plenty around, Cubase, Cakewalk, Logic

I was about to getr a rs-5 before I bought my korg...its a kick a$$ keyboard for the price...I would recommend goin with fruityloops if you want drum sounds...The step sequencer is simple to use and it has so nice sounds...Check some vsti to run in what ever program you're gonna use to sequence...the two I use the most are Native Instruments Pro-52 & Native Instrumentes FM7...

wut r vsti's?

I recommend you use Reason for drums.. I have a Korg er-1 hardware drum machine and I hardly use it
