Thanks Core for letting me play at such a great event and venue. I had a blast. I caught some of Randy Boyers set, when me and jason were tagging. He played some really great classic trance tracks. M.I.K.E. was amazing and really had the main room packed. I always loved his tracks, first time I got to hear him. Rai was playing some great tracks in the cave, and a pretty cool setup. Sorry I didn't get to here Rory play or Frank and Zack. Rory did give me a promo cd, so I will listen to that on my way to work tomorrow.
Again thanks core and everybody for the great comments. No I know how much I miss New York, and why I love it. Great people who love great music. |

HOLY f*&$@KIN !!! prior to coming to love i wasnt too sure if i wanted to hear classics- of course its always fun but just THOUGHT id much rather be listening to new stuff...i cant remember the last time i danced so much in my lifetime!!! WOOOW i was also scared that it would be packed like pvd was, ew, but sooooo much space to dance n go crazy- which was NEEEDED with all that energy boyer n push kicked out of that sick ass sound system!!! despite the fact that they forgot to turn on the a/c lol i was glued to that dancefloor...only went into the cave to catch bits n pieces of Rai- whom was the only i caught spinning on the decks...well like i said, i was glued to the main floor!!!
CORE n the many DJs- THANK YOU for such a great night!!!!
:tongue3 :tongue2  |

I wasn't there for this, but I never realized Urban Shakedown was that popular of a track. I haven't been into trance for... 5 years now. But that's definitely in my top 5 from back then. |
omg that was the toon that I was requesting over ....and over.....and over again in the Core thread. lol I just about bugged out....and I love how everyone knew that was my toon and was like: "kelllyyyyyyy!!!! urban shakedowwwwwnnnnnnnnn!!! WTFFFF!!!!!" HUGE massive response when it came on, and I loved that people loved it as much as I always have!! :)
Awesome, awesome night. COuldnt have asked for much better. Classics are my religion :) Zack and MIKE totally killed it. I missed most of randy's set because of a little intermission between parties :( :( Frank killed it as well, while we were winding down in the fraggle rock from 12hours of dancing :)
Bummer of the night: Being in the bathroom when "Let the Light Shine In" came on. That was a fav for Burak and I, and I totally missed it. :( :( I HATE leaving the room on nights like these. :( :(
Oh, and the AC. Holy , I mean, how hard can it BE to cool a room that size? It def affected the amount of hardcore dancing that could be done. it was barely breathable in there.
awesome peeps, even some that came after PVD. :) The peeps ALWAYS make the party!! we didnt leave till the bouncers told us to scoot on home :) |

So. Much. Fun. 10,000 times better than PVD. Great music, great people, and the staff at love was great as always. What a nice way to come back to the world after 3 months of no clubbing.
Also, Alyssa and Sam tie for best new hair do's. |

| Great, great job by the DJs. Definitely made it a memorable night. I had such an amazing time listening to some songs I hadn't heard in ages! The DJ that came on after Push blew it away, what an incredible set. I feel like it was even better than Push, he definitely carried on the energy from him. Congratulations to all the DJs on an excellent night! :) |

i look forward to classics night like a child does to christmas morning. didn't go to pvd because i didn't want anything to possibly take away from the night and i am very happy i saved all my energy for love. it was just ridiculous and everything i hoped it would be. no matter where i was i was assaulted with massive tunage. every dj was awesome and i was surrounded by awesome people. couldn't have asked for a better party. it was a TRANCE IN YO PANTS night for sure. didn't leave until they kicked us out :toothless!!!

that was Zack. He really did play a great set...so many fun tracks I haven't heard out in a club in so long...Ascension - Someone, and Let The Light Shine In specifically. :)
It was awesome to see so many familiar faces out last night too.
Can't wait til Classics Vol 3 next Summer! |

big thanks to everyone who came out to support and to the locals who played in the cave... you all played great..
highlights of the night for me were when zack played someone like you and when frank dropped Scott Project and that hennes and cold rmx of clear blue water... that was one of the first 5 records i ever bought back in the day. |

damn last night was fun. As always, the most fun nights are the ones where you know most of the people in the club. Last night was one of those nights. Familiar faces wall to wall.
I heard bits and pieces of Randy's set, and it was all great stuff. He was dropping bombs right out of the gate at 10:30! M.I.K.E. played some of my all-time favs as well...Heaven Scent, Nothing, Urban Shakedown, Universal Nation, Wave Force, etc etc...one of the most fun sets I've heard out. Going on after him was a bit intimidating since he was one of the guys who started it all for me, but fun nontheless. :) Frank played a fun set as well. I haven't heard Blow The Speakers and The Second Trip since Exit maybe 6 years ago. :D
the tracks I played...
Tiesto - Lethal Industry
Svensen and Gielen - Twisted
Ascension - Someone
Solar Stone - Solar Coaster (Midway Remix)
Delerium - Silence (Tiesto Remix)
Tiesto - Sparkles (Transa Remix)
Jono Grant vs. Darren Tate - Let the Light Shine In
System F - Out Of The Blue
Rank 1 - Airwave
BT - Flaming June (BT vs. PVD Remix)
Lost Tribe - Gamemaster
Pulser - Cloudwalking (Astral Mix) |

Arrived toward the end of Keryn's set, just in time to hear a killer new prog track (2nd to last song, Keryn?). I was also really stoked to hear Jason and Ali's set, as I knew they had been preparing some killer tunes all week, and, of course, they did not disappoint. Hung out with in the cave most of the night, as I was having too much fun to venture out to the main room. (I was also too busy mooching drinks from Zack & Keryn, Frank, Molly, & Steve)...
Left with Ali about 3:15, so unfortunately, I missed Frank and Zack play these tracks!:
Chicane - Don't Give Up, (Disco Citizens vs Tomski Remix)
BT - Flaming June (BT vs. PVD remix)...
but, I certainly had a blast while I was there...
Truly an awesome way to cap off the day post-PVD...
