Here's my honest review:

Not bad, not super horrible either.

Here's my honest review:

I found the bass too wet for my taste. The snare wasn't loud enough, and it seems a little too wet too.

That saw lead felt a little dry to me.

On these bad speakers of mine, I hear frequencies that might need EQing on the low end. Also, your lead needs EQing, I just don't know where. Might be just me.

Overall I felt it was lacking something.

Best part of the song was the break though.

cheers for the feedback, IMO ive left the first bits very wet as it sounded a little better and that saw lead , ive had a hard time fighting with it :)
cheers for you comments anyhows;)

I think that the bass should have been more driving. You said you had a hard time fighting with that saw lead. Then i would say just scrap it and make a new one.

Anyways, the song is pretty good but not my cup of tea.

too much unnecessary rverb...saw thing sounds bland..track progression isnt exciting...that lead that you have solo'd during the breakdown sounds awesome solo, but then you bring it in with the other elements and its power is gone.

it's what many people always say about synths: if they sound good alone, they may not fit well in a mix. if they sound alone, they may sound great in the mix. i hope that makes sense.

keep working though.

this is the best information u could ever give a person, u have to work on the eq so that the sound sits properly in the mix, sit down and with a few pointers use your ears to hear where the instruments and everything should be placed (eq wise).

having a synth sound amazing solo is great, but if it doesnt sit well in the mix itll either drown out or be drowned out by the other elements in your song which happens here.

just keep working at it and you'll get there eventually.

I absolutely love the breakdown

Right , ive listened to your advice , so ive
beefed up the bass
turned down execess reverb
put more power in the main lead after the breakdown
toned down the saw lead at the beggining of the song
eq'd the percs a little more

Has that done the trick?

Its now in the player above(same title)

this is good stuff , i like that its a lot more calm and easy on the ears. The only thing i can say about this, and im a noobie, is that it could use a little more progression. like i wanna wait for it hear the hats or snare roll in and then get slapped by a real nice bumpin riff.
which you could totally do with this, i guess it would just be changing the EQ or whatever.

Right, this is an honest opinion which some people dont tend to give these days.

To me, the track is just too boring, the structure of the track doesnt really do much, and doesnt really envoke any excitement, it just kind of runs if you know what I mean?

Some of the sounds are ok, but lots of it just kind of drags on, if ya know what I mean? An example of this is probablly the first 32 bars or so, it's just like 8 bars repeated 4 times, theres no variation.

To be blunt, I dont want to listen to it again, but with a bit of variation in the structure and some extra elements to the track it MAY be the base for a reasonable track.

My above comments where for the wrong track! lol, it was for the song that plays as default.
