extreme sound stretcher - AWESOME tool

Hey :D

I just got to know this really awesome tool which you can download here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/show...45122/&abmode=1

Its a small instant-fun program yet with a stunning audio quality. Paul's expreme sound stretch lets you load up any audio file in it, and stretches it then up to 10000x length (or if you activate hyperstretch, almost infinity). But this is not a crappy stretcher. You dont hear artifacts with extreme stretching. The original pitch stays the same and it basically makes stuff really long, wide and epic.

You can load any audio in it, but it isnt that successful with stretching if there are drums in it. But it really blows you away when you load an orchestral/string/choir sample in it.
I tried Star Wars Episode III OST - "Immolation Scene" and it sounds so sad, trippy and epic when stretched to around 8x.

There are also some processing you can do with your audio. I really love the octave mixer which adds the same signal at higher/lower pitch to the original sound. Its really awesome to fatten a simple string section to a huge wall of sound.

Another great thing is you can render the output to wav or ogg. I will use this to make a lot of HUGE intro layers :)

One warning: this thing is addictive and I dont know what kind of effects it would have on you if you use this when stoned.

Try it, I'm sure you will love it!

Whoa, awesome.

Some guy used some other program to stretch Beethoven's ninth symphony to be twenty-four hours long:

I posted it in MD a while back. It sounds really awesome.
