3D DJ Comp 2008!! - Get your demo's in now!!

Calling all DJ’s !!!
We are now taking demo’s for the upcoming DJ Comp @ 3D!! So get crackin & get your demo in before Friday 19th of September! This gives you just over 4 weeks to get your demo to us (The Comp will be starting the following week Friday 3rd of October)
PLEASE NOTE: NO Demo’s will be accepted after Friday 19th of September!
To submit your demo you can either post it to:
3D DJ Competition: PO Box 488, Altona, Vic. 3018.
OR you can drop it off to the girls at the door @ 3D on Friday nights!
Please include:
- As much info as possible about yourself! The more the merrier!!
- A full track listing for your demo.
- PLEASE separate your demo into separate tracks!! (if you don’t have the software to do this then that’s fine, but if you can find a way to do it it would be much appreciated!)
All styles are welcome, but this DJ comp is for a residency @ 3D, which is predominantly a Trance/ Tech Trance/ Hard Trance/ Hard Dance/ Hardstyle club. So obviously these style would be preferred.

I didn't even know hardcore had different tracks. All sounds the same to me. |

ok heres how its all gonna work..
The comp will be held over 7 weeks, this year will be a little different, there will be 4 heats with 8 DJ's playing 45 min. sets, & we have decided to put 3 DJ's thru from each heat to give more people a go.. Then there will be 2 semi's & a final. (See Below)
Also this year there will be 2 winners, both will win a fortnightly residency at 3D :)
here are the dates:
We will start with 32 DJ’s….
Friday 3rd October - DJ COMP – Heat #1 (8 DJ’s – 3 Winners) (Level 2)
Friday 10th October - DJ COMP – Heat #2 (8 DJ’s – 3 Winners) (Level 2)
Friday 17th October - DJ COMP – Heat #3 (8 DJ’s – 3 Winners) (Level 2)
Friday 24th October - DJ COMP – Heat #4 (8 DJ’s – 3 Winners) (Level 2)
Friday 31st October - DJ COMP – Semi Final # 1 (6 DJ’s – 3 Winners) (Level 1)
Friday 7th November - DJ COMP – Semi Final # 2 (6 DJ’s – 3 Winners) (Level 1)
Friday 14th November – DJ COMP – FINAL (6 DJ’s - 2 Winners) ++ Special International Guest!! (Level 1)
& for those who are concerned about the equipment on level 2, im hoping to have 2 CDJ 1000's & a DJM800 mixer in time for the comp (& hopefully to stay :D )..

hey guys.. well,, once again its been a major headf*k trying to choose who goes thru to the comp & who doesnt, we had over 80 demos this year & 90% of them were quality, so when it came down to it, this year we chose the newest DJ's, after all the comp is all about finding new talent & giving new guys a go.. so unfortuanately, the DJ's that have been around the longest & have played regular gigs @ 3D & around Melbourne, were the ones that missed out. Sorry to everyone who didnt get thru, but this was the fairest way to do it. & for those that are wondering, yes the new equipment has arrived! :D we have 2 Technics Turntables, 2 CDJ1000's, a DJM800, & brand new concorde DJ-E Nightclub needles for you guys to play on.
