thanks man, glad you enjoyed it. i would love to make it back to chicago sometime soon, we'll see what happens...
and as a pre-emptive reply to anyone who may comment on it - i intentionally went for a non-linear flow in this one. ive found myself playing two fairly distinct types of sets of late - starting either light and chunky, or darker/techier. this was my attempt at trying to merge the two. my intention was to start kinda brighter and chunkier, gradually moving techy, levelling off with the 'moving too fast' track and then building again in the slightly darker style.
i don't like prefacing a mix with that much explanation, as i may have now colored how anyone might hear it, but this is the longest post ive typed in ages, so im not about to delete it now... :p |
