hi all you trance nutters. was wondering if you have any opinions or experience from the two choices i have to buy within my budget. which will be better/easier for my production, setup etc... i am running cubase studio 4.

i already have a edirol pcr series midi controller that controls my volumes, pans, mute, solo scroll & all the transport panel buttons. so the vst controller is gonna be strictly for the synth's paramaters lfos, attacks, etc...

my options are the 'behringer bcr 2000' or the 'u control uc-16'

thanx in advance.

I hate most behringer kit but the exceptions in theor range are the Truth monitors and the BCR 2000/BCF 2000. They actually do just what it says on the tin and know a few people who have had them for over a year with no problems.

The UC16 has been out for ages, never used it but haven't heard bad things about it either.

When you say "VST Controller" the only products that I can think of are Novation auto-map enabled coontrollers and the Mackie C4.

But i understood that the C4 does not work in Cubase?

thanx 4 the replies all. i'm probably going to go for the u control. there's so many others i wish i had. but for now my ass is itching & the tunes are starting to look prosperous. so i'm gonna be impatient & think this one should be suffice. enjoy.
