100% correct. Especially since a bunch of us had to make the choice on which party to go, its only natural to come into a review thread and get the idea of what the other party was like.

My reaction of the reviews both HERE on the forum, and from the people whom left to come to Love, was a negative one. If I come into an event thread and see that a DJ is playing the exact same songs he played a few hours ago, I am going to make a comment on how glad I didnt pay the money for that.

Doesnt mean I dont like th DJ *EVER* (and some comments absurdly imply), but I think Paul shoulda realized his audience. People are making judgments based on the tracklists and others opinions and they have a right to say that they are happy to spend their money elsewhere for that particular evening.

I have seen it a hundred times on this board, and dont see anything wrong with people expressing an opinion based on these facts. (what you have never heard "ugh look at that tracklist, I am soo glad I didnt go???") Its on *every* event thread there is. It would have been lovely to come into this thread and seen that he played a killer and diverse set..... but that in fact is not the case for all that went, and he ended up dissapointing some people.

Wish I could turn back time and go back to the twilo days.. every night was good.. and noone ever complained even if the set was not the greatest. People went and just took in the vibe and thats all we needed then. Now everything is about the perfect track listing and venue haha.. what happened to the scene that once was!!

I go for the good vibes and all my friends always get together on PVD nights. This day in age and at my age its hard to get all my friends together in one place. So if it takes PVD and an ok set them im game. Guesse it helps i never have to pay a dime either lol

This was my very first PVD concert.

I expected him to play trance music, but he played the type of music I love listening to!! It was way beyond than I expected!!!

I really want to listen to these 2 hours again so badly that I downloaded the Pier 54 set by PvDoBseSSioN (thank you so much!) but it seems to me that the music is different???

Especialy since many of you mentioned that the tracklist played at WB is similar to the tracklist played at Pier 54. I am having a rough time looking for the WH tracklist on that file :nervous:

you are 100% correct as well. That is mainly the reason I go out for PVD, because he brings in the BEST crowds He is not my favourite DJ, but I tend to have a great time at his past shows!!

Trust me, I had a great time at the Piers because of this (friends, vibe, etc....), I was just a little dissapointed that someone of his caliber play such a similar tracklist! My opinion does not take away from the fact that many of you had a great time, it just was weird to me that he would do that! :conf:

well he did use some of the same tracks at Pier 54 at webster hall. Its just at the pier it was spread out over a 5 hr period. At WH, I know i heard a few that he played at the Pier at WH but I know i heard more than a few that he didnt play that were BOMBBSS..i could feel the balcony moving up and down from the speakers that were hanging off it cause the bass was so heavy. It was like being on a carnival ride. At one point a few friends of mine and my self thought it was going to fall down lol. ALl i know is the two hrs and 15 mins or so he played at webster he ripped the out of that place and I didnt hear one bad track. He got really really dark for an hr or so. Over all fantasic night. The little bit of Darey I got to hear, he was banging it to. Jason Jollins I dont need to explain man is always on point.

euphoria
