Bill Patrick (Robots- Berlin/NY) www.myspace.com/billpatrick www.wearerobots.net
Coming from a diverse musical background that included punk, hip hop, new wave, and reggae, Bill's love for dance music began in 1998 after attending his first New York rave. He frequented the legendary club Twilo and Vinyl almost every Friday until its closing in 2001. In a short time as a DJ, he has piled up an impressive resume with a residency at New York's famed club Arc (formerly Vinyl), played some of the best clubs throughout the world and has worked alongside many of the scene's most revered DJs.

Showcasing a flawlessly blended brand of electro, minimal house and techno, Patrick continues to rise to the top of an increasingly crowded underground electronic music scene. It's no wonder he has caught the eye of many world class DJ's such as Lee Burridge and Danny Howells who mentioned him as The Best Undiscovered DJ in DJ Mag's 2003 Top 100 issue.

Brian Derham aka the Dingo (Music Savages - Bozeman Montana) www.musicsavages.com
This Music Savage comes from Bozeman, Montana. Though not in civilization like the rest of us, Brian plays cutting edge techno that you would expect to hear in the best underground clubs around the world. That is because Brian only works 5 months a year and spends the rest of his time globetrotting to the best techno parties around the world. On a recent trip to Mexico he found the savage side of himself, the Dingo. Expect to hear the ferocious type beats you would expect from a highly volatile Dingo.

Jake Patrick (Music Savages - LA) www.musicsavages.com www.beharmonic.com
Ever since developing a serious dependency on electronic music at a young age while immersed in the rave scene in New England, Jake Patrick has been dedicated to enhancing and evolving underground culture across the United States. As a producer, DJ and VJ, Patrick has been pushing his artistic boundaries for 8 years to bring his audience a complete package of original sounds and visions.

Jake has spent the last 5 years in Los Angeles, where he's developed a true minimalist layered DJ style that showcases nothing but 3-7 minutes mixes consisting of balanced and juggled bass lines, warm and dark synths, and all the percussive and rhythmic sections you can possibly handle. If you're not dancing by the end of one of his sets, you must not have a pulse.

Jackson Thornburg (Bozeman, Montana)
Not only does Jackson work with and live with the Dingo in Bozeman Montana, they play music together. Spending so much time together, expect them to play with a synergy that will get you moving.

here it finally is: new york's electronic music + innovation festival! minitek is going to be slightly different from other festivals you know, even very different at times.

first of all because the festival combines two aspects: electronic music and innovation. while it seems pretty straight forward at first, you'll see soon that we're going to explore innovation not only in respect to music but also to other forms of art, science and technology.
