Spacey Orange

for once, i actually approve of a cop's actions.

'what are you on?' lol.
Moongoose
I feel sorry for the cop because apparently he is the one who will get in trouble the most for this .

Seriously how is this on tv? Isnt anything else going on that people need to hear about than some stupid dog dying?
blacknoizybox
happens :(

i don't think the officers had the right to release them out of pity for the dog, or maybe...

What a tragedy :(

The police are right , how can the possibility of a crash of there vehicle and/or others that will maybe fatal or serious to other drivers justify a mad rush for a daft mutt.

Havent they heard of the heimlich!!

As much as that must absolutely suck, the cop is right imo.

WOW!!!!!

That couple needs to get their priorities straight!

And what really angers me is the fact that the officer is being punished for simply doing his job. He risked HIS life trying to pull that maniac over! And now he's being reprimanded for putting his life on the line for the general public?!?!

Of course he's going to say things like "What are you on?!" or "You can get another dog!". He was probably still having adrenaline pumping through him from having to weave through semi-trucks while chasing his ass down!

Simply put, justice was not served here. He should have booked him on the spot.

Another thing during the interview, the guy said that it took the officer over 20 minutes to write the ticket. In the full video, didn't the officer say that he was going to let him off with a warning because he was "a little sympathetic"?

Gotta love how the media twists things around for just a few minutes of airtime........

I think he said he was going to let the felony slide, in relation to running from the police, not the speeding ticket.

Ahhhh.....ok

I'm at work, so I've only had the chance to watch that video once.

But I'm still curious as to how the guy defines the officer "taking twenty minutes to write the ticket".

Does he mean twenty minutes after he got lectured or twenty minutes from the point of him finally PULLING OVER?

I still think that this guy should have went to jail for the night, minimum.
