help with the bass

So trance hasn't been my thing. I love to listen to it, but when it comes to producing :eyes:
One thing that I am lacking is my bass skills. Is it my synth skills, or maybe note placement? I don't know, but if anyone is willing to exchange MSN, AIM, emails, whatever, I would like assistance :)

I don't think he's very funny, but thats my opinion.
But anyway.... let's go ontopic again.
If you upload a sample of your work, we can hear what is going on a give you feedback on that. In this way it's a little hard to do that, it could be anything. |

Here's what I use for some bass (I do this on SH-101 but should work wherever. Make changes as needed):
Two waveforms: square wave and sawtooth
Bring the frequency and resonance down to zero
Put the envelope about half way up
Bring the frequency up just enough so you can hear your notes (sometimes I add in a little resonance)
Adjust the frequency and envelope as needed to make a round sound.
