Stop teasing us with secrets:whip: and just tell the story already!

Unless this was an Ableton contest that he won, where all entrants had to show their Ableton prowess in order to win, I really don't know why everyone is so outraged. For someone who NOBODY knows, to suddenly be opening for Deadmau5, you can't expect to be calling the shots.

As it is, if you read page 6 of that ableton thread, he's allowed to bring his live rig now anyway, and just can't go past 126 bpm (which also makes sense, because playing banging 132 peakhour right before deadmau5 would ruin the night musically, and is something that the agent can't control).

my say is, let the kid shine however he wants. he won a contest, and has my congratulations for sure. I've just literally rolled out a bed and found this, nobodys consulted with me (or my agency) about ANY of this... so there are definatley some shenanigans afoot here.

its funny to read about the big "terrible monster of a person" i am made out to be by others from time to time... but when it's overlapping on another artist like this... sorry, i wont stand for it.

sorting it out best way i can.

You mean you don't watch TA all day? OH NOOOOOOOOOO'Z! :D

I'm just saying regardless of who was saying that a 2nd ableton setup isn't allowed, people who are new to the scene (myself included) don't really have the right to be making equipment demands. And, a bpm restriction isn't necessarily a bad idea for an unknown opener, just to make sure that the night flows properly.

This story absolutely stinks like BS.

Funny how everyone is so quick to paint deadmau5 a certain way.

you show me the transcript, voice recording, statement, press release, email, fax, carrier pidgeon or scroll that reads "deadmau5, or his management, requires that no performer use ableton live before / after him"

and i will show you a delusional world alright.
