Anybody here have one of these? I've got an opportunity to pick one up at a good price and I'm seriously considering adding it to my arsenal. It seems like it would complement my Prophet '08 pretty nicely. I especially like the idea of the inputs. Any thoughts, issues I should be aware of, etc.? |

Go for it! I'm betting it's good for trippy atmospheres and such. |

Already done. I'm picking it up tomorrow evening, then locking myself up in the studio for the weekend! |

How much did you pay? Is it the Keyboard? Poly Evolver? Mono Evolver? |

It's the Mono Evolver Keyboard (MEK). It's essentially a brand new unit that I bought for $800 (it sells for $1200 new). I almost bought the Poly Evolver a few months ago, but decided to go with the Prophet '08 instead and I'm glad I did. |

I wasn't really impressed when I tried it. |

SE is a great company but i don't really like the look of this one. but the Omega 8 would be awesome. just a little bit too expensive ;) |

I doesn't really sound as fat as a moog for example. But it does sound completely fine. Better than a VA atleast. It might just be that I prefer the moog sound more. :) |
