This lake has an unlimited amount of Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Lake Trout..for Muskie fishing its hard in this lake they are rare but in there. We drive about an hour and half from the cabin to another lake for the big muskie.. But Otter Lake is full of 20lb plus pike at all times. Good ole fashion spinner bate and about 15 to 20lb test braided line workslike a charm on that lake for Pike.

pic's coming up. we took a few.
guys, i repeat myself, we went out 45 minutes into the ocean; not even in the tri-state bay where normally all the fishing boats from NJ, BK, SI are lookin for stripers. And yes, there hasnt been anything to catch the last month and a half.

(back to work for me)

Do they have Limits for stripers? In NJ they do, can only keep 2 keepers per person, Hard to think a party boat can keep that many.

I would think and hope they do.. Man in Canada for freshwater they are getting very strict about what you can keep. Anything over 40 inches in Canada for a pike or muskie and I believe for Lake trout anything over 30 inches you have to throw back. I believe it has to be for pike atleast 22 inches long and same for muskie to keep and up to about 39 to 40 inches. I might be little off on the sizes but its right around there. Up in canada they are really pushing the catch and release programs up there for all fish. Just in the last few years of doing that the fishing has blossumed. But you know how hard it is to talk someone out of throwing back that monster lol. Its great at all times up there you will always catch something and Trophy size fish.

im looking into a fishing charter on the delaware or greenwood lake for Big Muskie and nice Walleye if anyone is interested to join me. I will get the rates and let you know. I believ for a full day its 300 but thats only if you do muskie. If you want muskie then you have to do a full day. Let me know and ill see if we can get a group rate..I live not to far from there so we can hang at my crib and BBQ when we get back and some drinks or whatever we want to do.

they do.....it's the same in NY......2 per person and the first one has to be at least 28" and the second one even bigger. i find it hard to believe that a party boat captain would break these limit laws because if they get busted they would be fined per fish.....and something of that degree would prob put them out of business.

I'm down for a musky charter......that's one species that I still have not caught and would love to hook into a huge 50 incher.

I went to Canada last month (hour north of Ottawa) and fished all week with my Uncles and Grandfather (all big on fishing/hunting) we were catching small pike all week and I was hoping to catch a nice one. Anyways I didn't but the last day right before I was leaving I was messing around on the dock with a big spoon......I had about a 40" Pike follow my spoon.....it was about to suck it in but saw me at the last second and booked the other way....splashing the top of the water......scared the living out of me!!! Oh well maybe next time.......
