nice! i mentioned this to jay the other day and he said "NO!" because marco v is the same night. i will definately be hitting up nuit blanche though so i'll see you there! last year was really cool but we went pretty late so things were winding down and we really didn't get a chance to check out everything. |

So this is not affiliated w/ NB by the looks of it. I mean I could be wrong, but since it's in the Basement & has a cover (NB is free don't forget) I'm goin w/ that.
Not that there's anything wrong with it, but unless I know the exact time that Abe's going on, I'll be hard pressed to be convinced to check it out. As the lost opportunity of other elements of the night would weigh too heavily on my mind.

Same, hoping event time's get posted so I can try to plan my night accordingly. There is enough techno coming up this month that I won't be that upset if I miss this party because of Nuite Blanche.
Was hoping that it would have been a sponsored / free (or cheap) event held in a location a bit more interesting than a club that'd fit in a bit more with the overall randomness/fun times of Nuite Blanche.
But, at $15/$20 cover, that's sort of putting it into the "only spend my night there Territory", not a "do nuite blanche, swing by and check out some techno/dance for an hour or two, then continue on with the rest of the night".
Shame, had it been any other night I would of been there 100% - solid lineup and I'm sure it'll be a great party. |

not trying to purposely slag on this event, but if this was officially affiliated with Nuit Blanche, it'd be nice if it was held in a free outdoor venue

well here is what happened....
originally this event was supposed to be an add on to the nuit blanche program.
But we had some venue problems. Originally we were going to use one
of the new rooms at sudbury99 but when we found out we could only get a drinking/liquor licence until 1am we pulled the plug on doing it there. How upset would people be
at us/sudbury with drinks ending at 1am on Nuit Blanche!!Thats just
ridiculous...All the events we have done before at sudbury99 you could drink late into the morning hours. We
where also promised a special 4am license for this event but becuase of unknown reasons is was denied. And for this event we HAD to get one.So we decided to do it on our own at basement. it will be really fun regardless and we are very shure this event will go OFF!!! |
