Just like you don't put A1 sauce on a good steak, keep the spice off. I like to taste food, not spice. |

LOL... I was in Ruths Chris with my dad, who is very unrefined, and he asked for some A-1 on a filet (that he ordered well done by the way)... I thought the waiter was going to have a stroke |

I agree with that.
However bland food requires some spice sometimes and I'd say a good steak isn't bland. Although I am partial to pepper sauce on a cheap steak!;)
Nachos and steak shouldn't be compared really. |

I found an international market down the street and made ubertasty nachos tonight
Brown onion, add red bell pepper
Pound of burger meat, cook thoroughly
Add HOT salsa, sour cream and retried bean
Mix
Serve on chips of your choice (I used hint of lime for extra win)
Top with tomato jalepeno cheese avacado etc
I just moved into a two bathroom apartment and I'm gonna christen the hell out of the second one tomorrow, can't wait! |

I am all for adding spices as long as peppers aren't part of those spices.

A1 is very wrong. There are some steak sauces which are alright, but still not right. Theres this awesome awesome awesome argentinian sauce though which is the ing bomb. Theres a restaurant here which hoem makes it so no idea whats in it. |
