spose you're a full-sus bitch then :p ?
In all honesty, hardtails are just so much better unless you plan to go down near-vertical hills and need something to allow you to do so. Due to the cost of a rear shock, the componentry is always a bit less and the extra energy exerted is pointless shifting something so heavy. Hardtails are generally a nice light strong aluminium/carbon frame, have good specs and with some good forks, you can lock them out now to rigid for riding to/from a trail and then release the valves for when you get to the trails. |

Not just downhills, but also crazy uphills. The rear susp. keeps teh back tire on the ground better.
I love it in my desert trail riding, them rocks are hard as funk. Anything to soften them up is much appreciated.
You should come out here and ride some trails :) |

| here's a question for ya, flat pedals or clips? |
|
|
| Ian |
| dmr v8 or v12 flat! Clipless are a bit awkward for me personally |
|

| i hear that a lot, and see a lot of great riders out here use em. I love my clips, they are great for uphill stuff as you never slip off the pedal. but can be scary on scary downhill stuff, as you never slip out! |
