Cubase Users - Help Needed: Bars and Beats Ruler Problem

I was recently working on a new tune when i noticed that there was a problem with the ruler track in the arrange page. Please follow the link below and you will see what i mean. From the image you can see that i have put down a simple 16 beat (4 bar) kick on quarter notes, yet cubase thinks this is in fact 8 bars! Ive also added a timecode ruler track below to illustrate this point. The timecode is correct and reads just over 6 seconds, which at 140bpm is 4 bars, not 8! Ive cut this track right down to just the kick channel to make it visibly clearer but when i started the project the initial ruler was correct, so im wondering if ive pushed some button along the way which has caused this change, or weather it is in fact a bug? If anyone could offer any help regarding the matter it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
