I read about this in the Post a few months ago. NYC is renovating a bunch of pools/parks around Brooklyn, I believe. |

and i heard in the winter it might be covered and turned into a ice skateing rink, that would be dope

| yea as long as they dont have next years armin show at Pier 54... that venue was not great. McCarren park is the best :( at least we had some good timessssss there!!! |

passed by today and it was more packed than i've ever seen it:
this is from sunday afternoon. What do they decide to do? To close it all down and put a swimming pool, and maybe an ice rink in the winter.
to me right now - seems a strange decision because all the events that take place there are peeking in terms of popularity right now. |
