| I hate the bbc. Did you know that it's law for anybody who wants to own a television to pay a yearly license fee to the bbc. Even if you don't want to watch 99% of their bull, they force you to do it or you get fined/criminal record. |

How much is a TV license these days Ian? I think it was 20 quid or something when I was there in 2001-ish? |

lol i've long complained to them that nobody should be made to pay it and that we should only pay it IF we wanted their stuff. I pay for sky because I want that content and i could easily do without the beeb. All i watch on there is MOTD and next year F1, but i can wait for goals on sunday on sky etc. |

1. BBC Panorama was the best show on earth. Too bad they stopped airing it on BBC International.
2. And I love sleeping with BBC Channel switched on in background.
3. Their countdown time music is a nice, +1 to them increasing countdown time from 5 seconds to 30 seconds. Choon! |

panorama is one of the biggest piles of around, acting first, thinking later, but it does kinda explain your political views. It is so biased & dog and what makes it worse is that whilst we in the UK pay them out of necessity, you get to see the shows our money gets to make, i presume without making any sort of monetary contribution to the bbc. |
