Hey guys...
I rarely post something serious but today I'm asking all the flamers to lay off this thread and go play somewhere else. Unless of course you wanna watch some really cool videos. :P
I've always found there to be a lack of quality video interview websites for electronic producers and DJ's on the internet. I'm tired of hearing the same old questions repeated to the same DJ over and over again. It lacks freshness, spontaneity and most importantly: emotion. And to be honest, I think fans deserve better.
This lead me to start a new website called www.djiview.com. The purpose of the site is to stream high-quality, in-depth interviews with top touring DJ's and producers.
I launched the site this week with interviews from Creator, DJ Preach, Vivie-Ann, Maher Daniel, and last but not least, Max Graham. When I started the website I didn't really know what I was getting myself into but after filming these interviews, editing them, and presenting them online I realize that I have something special.
Once again, the website is www.djiview.com. Drop by, watch a few videos, and leave some thoughts in this thread if any of the interviews interested you.
I thank you for the time!

Great job! That was a good suggestion to eventually track down producers and get a behind the scenes look with them as well. Keep up the great work! :toocool: |

Shara, thanks for the kind words. I definitely plan to include those kind of interviews in the future.

| marcus, when kevin saunderson is in town that would make for a great interview. The guy has forgotten more about music than most dj's today know about.;) |

bitch, please.
Great job Max.. and Max :p
It's always a plus when the interview-ee takes solid questions and runs with it. Max Graham, in particular, was very articulate and made your job easier.
But you asked the right questions too and left some really interesting nuggets in the end, even, particularly the ones with Preach.
Keep it up and again, nice work.
Your website has the potential to take off and maybe even exceed this Tranceaddict one in hits someday ;) |
