sorta last minute question here, but i have a friend who's got absolutely NO ID, except for an expired passport (and no, haven't been able to get a 'fake' id either).
what's the door policy on expired IDs? is there any point in even bringing the passport or they won't even look at it?
if anyone has any advice,help...would be greatly appreciated; we're going in a fairly hefty group and it'd be quite disappointing to not have her get in.

according to the smartserve website and it says nothing about the identification being valid or expired. i know some expired drivers license have a sticker on it saying "valid photo i.d. only" so i think it should be legal to use an expired one.
What are the acceptable forms for Age Identification?
The only acceptable forms of age identification include:
* an Ontario driver's licence with a photo
* a Canadian passport with a photo
* a Canadian citizenship card with a photo
* a Canadian armed forces card with a photo
* an LCBO BYID photo card
as long as that passport is her REAL passport and she is 19+ then i dont see why she should have any problems.

i would bring the passport..i've gotten into clubs with an expired one...i guess it depends on the person at the door.....but i don't see it being a huge issue..unless someone wants to be a total dick..just don't go too late..when they're too stressd out..and try the entrance at the kool haus side..if it's open....
