I am reading on Carl Cox's website that he is scheduled to perform at Opera on October 19th!!!

ya pretty cool indeed, but sucks its at opera, most of the ppl wont know who the heck cox is anyways, thell go for their usual party, not knowing whos playing for them, sucks. oh well wtv, itll be a sick show annyways.
im paying at the door though, no pre sale anymore, just watch this show get moved to millenium!!! |

People need to have a starting point. That's why guys like PVD, Tiesto, and Ferry exist. To introduce people to EDM. Then they move on.

good point.
The usual people will show up for the usual Sunday night party, most will be told to pay more than the usual... some will turn back and leave, the rest will know that they are paying for a great dj.
Then you have all the other people like us who don't show up on a Sunday night especially for carl cox.
So all in all, the majority of the crowd will know that its either cox playing or a great dj without really knowing who its... i don't see why that would be a problem, opera will kick ass that night! |
