So, I'm coming from New York to probably Tel Aviv on a birthright trip either in December, January, March, May, or June...

I was just trying to figure out if anyone could tell me what the good clubs are, when some events are, etc. in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Not sure what city im going to yet either.

anyway. i just figured I would start doing my homework now. I hear the club scene is amazing and hopefully I can link up with some Israeli TA's.

oh yeah, I cant read anything on this forum because Im assuming our computers are all different. hopefully this shows up on your screens!!

hey mate
first of all the trance scene here is in a poor condition but if you are open minded enough about genres such as tech house or more minimalistic tech house you might enjoy the atmosphere here at some small dark clubs.
in the trance area
on the last 2-3 years all we had is armin tiesto or van dyk playing here. so every2-3 months aproximately we have one of them here.
nothing besides that, not even small parties

hey man,
the club scene is fine, but the trance scene... that's a different story... (just like glenn holmes said)

anyway, let us know when you're coming, and leave us some contact details.
maybe we can try to meet up and show you around or something...

and btw, you can't read stuff here because we write most of the posts in hebrew, and you probably can't understand hebrew, or don't have hebrew fonts...
but it's ok, our computers are the same, and we can see everything you write...

Not only the club scene in Tel-Aviv is fine, some consider it as one of the hottest in the world right now.

If you just open your mind beyond Trance, you'll discover that every week you you can find a really cool party with great underground music.
There are not enough Uplifting/Club Trance parties in isarel not because the scene is "dead", but because tel-aviv is too cool to play only the 4x4 old club trance and you can find instead any crazy electronic/underground style you want with dj's from all over the globe coming to play here. There are also lots of cool live concerts in many styles!

For example, today Diplo comes for his 4th time.

thanks everyone. I will most definitely update you with the dates of my trip. as far as a lack of a trance scene, that doesnt make much a diff to me. Sure I love trance, but I'm up for anything, prog house, minimal, tech. doesnt matter. as long as I have fun and meet some attractive females i'll be happy. and as far as the hebrew goes, I can read it just fine, I just have no clue what I'm reading!!!
