| Todd Terry, Kenny Dope are very New York House - soulful deep house. Defected is the label. Same as Dennis Ferrer -"Black Man in Space" "Church Lady" I am assuming the whole line up is deep house. |

Defected is one of my favorite labels. I love NY House. have to kinda disagree with Chicago w/sax. Definately a more urban-influenced, smooth, soulful, gospel-like sound with some tribal/electro/tech elements. If you dance or enjoy watching people dance, you will enjoy the hell out of it. You'll be in the middle of the dance circle scene at this one. If you usually like a harder, faster BPM, trance sound, probably not your cup of tea.
