I just listened to it on my train ride to and from work...and it's not bad...but it certainly isn't "amazing" as you'd perhaps expect from someone of Sasha's conceived caliber. I love mixes that take you on some type of journey...and I felt this was a bit stagnant or "flatline"...though there were some individual tracks that I really enjoyed.

This is probably the most concise way I could express how I feel about it too.

"Stagnant" and just not really for me. Loved the first 10-15 minutes, and the last 10-15 minutes, but everything in between was just very bland and plodding for me (reminded me a lot of the Sasha I've seen live the past couple of years - which isn't a great thing).

Not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, but not anything that really hit me all that well either.

that is the same thing I have been told as well. that it sort of just didn't go anywere. that is what i respect in great mixes like involver, balance 005, slam - nightdrive and beyond. that is what i always strive for in my sets and in my demos. changing the pace, mood and flow of the night or drive is what is key in my opinion.

I still listen to all three of those regularly, and I really think that skewed my view when listening to this.

Just my $0.02.

so i take you you like disk one of night drive? didn't i give that you to you last time we were rocking it out?

i agree though, listening to those a few more have really just spoiled me i guess, dj mixes are just different now .. just before the days of beatport and posted track lists being consistently available.

Sasha is playing Tini Martini in October. Not sure what you're talking about.

Glad someone's staying on top of it! Ticket sales are up for the 18th.

I'll get the ice cubes bro. Maybe we can get Nikos to bring the tzatziki sauce.
