How the hell do i get it to work? It works fine with reason, and I can tell that what nob channel 9 is. I assign it to a knob on my rack in reason and it works, and yet in traktor it seems to do nothing regardless of what I assign or what button/key/nob/fader it is.
Installation procedure:
Plug it in
Install drivers (apparently I didn't need to)
Click automatically find drivers every time
I don't know what else to say thats relevant. Some troubleshooting advice would be useful. |

So when you plug it in does it ask to find drivers every time? If so, then they were not installed correctly.
If that's not the case; when assigning functionality, are you using the 'learn' button, or trying to do it manually? |

| The learn button doesn't work and neither does doing stuff manually. I know that c18 or whatever is a very particular little manual fader, and yet it does nothing to the x fade on screen when I assign it to that. Same with any other button, I've tried assing stuff to eqs etc as well but that hasn't worked either. It used to ask if it should automatically find drivers but I've told it to do that each time so it no longer does. As I said it works perfectly with reason. |

If Traktor is not assigning the MIDI input via "Learn", it's not receiving input from the keyboard.
If you go to File->MIDI Setup, does the device appear? Make sure it's active.
If the device shows up and is set to active, you should be able to assign whatever MIDI hotkeys via Learn. It's the easiest way to deal with it. |

| Turns out I needed to tick the active box, nothing is ticked by default. |
