so, ive gotten into demigod the last few weeks and its a helluva lot of fun. i completely suck at it because its not all that transparent with the rules (like FA is) but really enjoying learning all the tricks and how to use which units/demigods.
never played DoTA but i hear demigod is better. |

League of Legends is going to be amazing and blow Demigod out of the water. It has the makers of DOTA as their dev team.

Me too....Emulators are ok, but I like hooking up my old school nes to my big tv and playing on the original hardware. |

| I tried it out and I wasn't too excited. First of all, I hate fantasy based games like WOW. So, playing Demigod, to me, felt like I was playing WOW. I played for maybe 10 minutes before getting bored as hell and not really having any motivation to learn how to use all the crap you have to use and buy. Forged Alliance is good enough for me.. |

Anyone that compares DG to WoW most definitely didn’t play the game long enough to be able to tell anything. |

Dude, one of the maps is inspired by WOW. It's supposed to be a merger between WOW-type gaming, and real-time strategy. And that's exactly how I saw it. Like combining supcom with WOW. |

I think he meant the W3 map, not WOW, that was an inspiration. Still it's the same fantasy universe. |

Dude, DemiGod looks like the supreme commander version of WOW. I don't know wtf DoTA is, nor do I give a about the differences in game genres. My geek friend is just like you. I say it's like WOW, and he gets all offended because it's not a MMORPG but a RPG/RTS hybrid. Still full of goblins and orc looking little s, with mana and potions, and all the WOW-type stuff.. |
