And on yet another note, yesterday I've had a very first muscle cramp in my life (left calf).
I don't remember ever feeling something that painful to this date.

:wtf:

You've had a very pain-free existence my friend.

Cramps rate about a "3" on the scale of all time most painful things I've experienced.

Kind of, yeah. I've had my fair share of accidents, but none of them were very serious.

I flipped my motorcycle 5 times at 70mph with me caught in it. :toothless

I would probably stop driving it after first accident.
Actually, I wouldn't drive it at all.
Tried it once (small 80 ccm sport bike) and that is too unsafe.
Don't want to imagine what it feels like driving a 250, 500 or 1000 ccm one.
And having an accident.

I crashed my bike, fractured my skull and spent a week in the hospital and a month rehabbing. I no longer care if it's "cool" or not to wear a bike helmet. (I wear a bike helmet.)

I was rolling down a big hill and at the end of the hill, I had to make a hard left, but I was going to fast, and my bike hit curb. I flew off the bike, and landed on the other side of sidewalk. It was a pretty hard landing, but luckily I landed in grass and not asphalt. But I just laid there for several seconds stunned by the landing. But I was unscathed. No helmet too..:happy2:

Hey I can add my story too!

I went over the bars on a trail out in the nevada desert. I thought I rolled pretty well when I hit the ground. But then I looked at my hands and my pinkie was all bloody. I bent it back so far it popped out of socket and poked through the skin.

So here I am 2 miles from town, in the middle of the desert looking at my pinkie bone. Knowing i was in shock and felt no real pain, I quickly popped it back in place (Doc later told me I was off a little bit) and jumped back on the bike. I rode real fast but kept checking my pinkie to make sure it was still attached as I thought it was only hanging by skin. I must grab video of the now famous pinkie trail. I had to go down a hill we call puke hill, so steep... :)

Turns out all my ligaments, muscles and nerves were fine, my pinkie bone just bent too far back and popped out.

Oh and chicks totally dig it.

but your little scrap and bruise sound sucky :P

Cutting the tip of my index finger clean off.

Having injections in the roof of my mouth (it's a hard surface, so a lot of pressure is required)

Shin splint massages to push lumps of inflammation off the bone - this is probably the worst pain I've ever experienced actually. It lasts for twenty minutes, with the physiotherapist taking 1-2 minutes to run his thumbs down your shin, pressed in as hard as possible, then repeating about ten times. You can actually see the bits of bone/flesh breaking off your Tibia below the skin and being moved to different locations along your leg.

Oh yeah, and childbirth, that one hurt a little bit too.

Indeed. we all used to arse around on our bikes on jumps & stuff and we needed a helmet, even for riding to them. There was a cocky guy who did some damage to his head from showing off. Served him right.

Does Canada have surfing spots? I just realised I've never thought about it as any kind of 'surfing country' :conf:

Most of my surfing was done in my teens, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I did have the luck, though, to stay at Jeffrey's Bay in South Africa for a week, while I was there in 2001, and I surfed my ass off  So much fun, and so many cool people. I was down at Bryon Bay a couple of weeks ago, and watched all the surfers, thinking "Oh man, I wanna be out there!" :(
