Millions of little kids are downloading vst programs and can "produce". Really doesn't mean anything. And there are thousands of selections on beatport....so what? You know how easy it is to start your own little label and then have say beatport load up your songs LOL!
Chinatranedude...lets be honest here. The clubbing world is so devoid of female talent that if a reasonably attractive female, with average DJ skills, walks up to a promoter she's pretty much got the gig. The promoter will hire her over much more qualified males.
Now I'm sure Fei Fei is a nice person, but from what I've seen on stage I was less than impressed. Perhaps I caught her on a bad night who knows.
One last thing...will people stop using the "jealousy" argument. to begin with you don't know who we are or what we've accomplished professionally. Just b/c you criticize someone doesn't mean you're jealous. Second of all the people to be jealous off...I'll be jealous of a successful surgeon, lawyer, executive or entrepreneur with that big house on the hill and multiple exotics in the garage...not some freakin' club Dj haha! |

Fei-Fei works her ass off way harder then anyone I have seen in this industry! And If you knew her I can't see why you would start a thread like this...

Sure they have an advantage, along with europeans in the american market, but as soon a female sees any kind of success lots of people automatically discount any kind of work they put in. All because they are a girl. It's stupid. You can't just be a female and make it. There are many more females in electronica then most people think and only a very small amount have pushed through on a global scale. Ever since Fei-Fei has been climbing up the ranks, there have been several threads by 1 post alts questioning her skills. I just don't see why they don't post on their normal sn? Is it because they are too busy trying to ruin someones career from behind their computer screen?
