Favorite vs Least Favorite Food

Favorites
1. tacos (tacos made with fish or ground beef) <--from us
2. herring n sour cream and onions or pickled herring <--from dk
3. salad with oil & vinegar dressing <--from us, what I eat most
4. rødkal (sweet and sour red cabbage) <--from dk
Least favorite:
1. fried egg
2. runny egg
I love tacos. I never tasted them until I came to United States and I think they were the first American food I liked. Thinking about eating fried eggs will make me do that thing in my throat. I forget what it's called. It happens before you puke.
So what are your favorite foods and where did you eat them? Your home country or a different country? |

Any kind of animal life that comes from the ocean. Fish, crab don't care, don't want it. I find this the most disgusting food there is and sometimes even the slightest smell of it can cause me to vomit. |

I know my worst: Yogurt, Mushrooms. I attempt to try here and there (GF gets yogurt and try some) and pizza with mushroom but each time it is yuck yuck and yuck!
Favorite: Cream spinach, cheese, peanutbutter, steak, shrimp |

Yes yes, creamed spinach is really good.
I tried to make it from scratch a couple of years ago (found a recipe) and it turns out the recipe wasn't actually for "creamed" spinach but for spinach with a sour cream sauce on it...I thought it would all combine during cooking but it didn't, the sour cream sauce just kind of sat there in a blob on top of the spinach...lol, major disappointment.
Moongoose, do you make your own fried rice or just buy out? I have a Japanese friend who taught me how to make liscious fried rice...unfortunately, I don't like rice too much so usually, I just make it for others. |
