is it cause Kirk and i went there on a Friday w/o you after we hung out with Menno back in February? :nervous: haha jk but seriously never had a bad time at the end up, just usually tired but all the characters there are a lot of laughs and music is good esp on KONTROL nights! |

I like staying at the Westin St Francis or a small one right accross the street called. Kengsington Park http://www.kensingtonparkhotel.com/
Both are in Union square.
If you are looking for a real good deal, There are hotels all along the 101 south of San Fran that could be about an hour drive or so, but you can most likely save a lot of money doing that. |

I'm originally from the bay area but work/live in OC. The last 2 times I drove up to SF to party I stayed at a cheap motel in the south bay in a location I knew was completely safe.
However, that price of that Super8 in Union Square really can't be beat for when you don't wanna drive any further and just wanna crash at 4:30AM
Super8 in union square = $80 a night + 10 tax = $90
I JUST called them and they said the $19 (per day) valet parking is good for the entire time when you check in until you check out.
That's $110 instead of paying $70 for a 40 minute drive away, which isn't that much savings.

Just make sure you book for/ask for the new tower rooms. The old tower rooms are like closets (size of small rooms in NYC). |

there was a 25$ cancellation fee
so after all is said and done if i would have known before it would have been cool, but its ok we got it for 270 total.
