| hey, i just bought all my parts to build my first comp, ive got a pal coming round tommorrow to help me put it all together and install the operating system which is xp pro, but hes into extreme gaming and built a couple of machines for himself, is there anything i should be aware of as far as setting it up for audio production? as he knows not much about software like cubase and sound cards? just thought id ask b4 i do something wrong, i want maximum performance, cheers for any replys |

cheers for the replys, well this is the power supply i bought, but i dont think it would be to late to change it if i needed too,
700W EZCool Infinity pPFC Low Noise ATX v2.2 Dual +12v Rails EPS12v 2.1 SATA/PCIE Ready 12cm Fan
cost £35 from scan uk, ill have a good read through them links tommorrow thanks just what i was looking for.
im sure im going to see alot of improvement tho im upgrading from a p4 i bought from pc world when i was at school 4 years ago, i just want to make sure right from the start of using this im getting a good performance out of the comp without wasting proccessing power, ill keep you posted on my progress, and ill post up all the specs tommorrow right now im off to bed!! |

| are you sure you wanna buy through scan? They're good in terms of supply but it was cheaper to source from dabs.com or ebuyer (it was at least a year ago.) |
