There are not many people who I like as much as Andrea, and that's not because I don't like most people...or even because I don't like most people a lot. In fact there are many people who I like very much.
The reason there aren't many people who I like as much as Andrea is because she is one of the best friends I have ever have.
Knowing that a person will be there for you no matter what the circumstance is an incredibly comforting feeling, and Andrea has been a person who has shown me this time and time again.
Andrea I am so thankful to have developed the friendship that we have. It is a relationship that I truly charish, and there is nothing I look forward to more than you coming home.
I miss you, and will listen to 'Till There Was You at least 3 times in your honour today.

To the girl that is even more direct than I am....
Canada was a big transition for me, culturally. You showed me that I wasn't an alien, that there were people in this country that WOULD speak their mind and tell the truth in the crusade for open and honest friendships and for that I truly thank you.
Being half the world away breaks the hearts of many you left behind here. We didn't have enough of a relationship for my heart to be broken but I sure am looking forward to you coming home.

I just want to thank you for being you, for being in my life, and never failing to be there for me...even if you're on the otherside of this round world. Over the years that I have known you, our friendship has grown a lot and continues to grow, and I feel very fortunate to have you as one of my best friends. No matter how many times we may be at each others throats, I know that 5 minutes later you'll be caressing me in your arms and we'll be laughing are asses off. Oh Andrea, the longer you are away the longer I feel a void in my life. You are always so dependable, if I ever need anything and you are in the middle a god damn paper that was due the next day, you would drop it to hear me out.
I miss being able to just pick up the phone to chat, instead it's through emails, which will do for now.
I miss our laundry dates and chats about everything and nothing. Your impeccable way of breaking down a 'need to know question' and somehow making sense of the outcome. Even when the answer was unclear (again convos about everything and nothing)
The girls are right when they say you put so much time and effort into all your friendships.
