Dyami is pleased to present Diyo: a new talent coming all the way from Buenos Aires. His first release contains two cuts “Not Yet” & “Going To East”, complimented by two remixes of “Not Yet” by Kosmas Epsilon and Vadim Yershov.
Diyo has always loved music and started his musical journey within different bands as a drummer in the late 90’s. In 2002, as his passion for Electronic music grew vivid, he discovered his skills as a dj. After many years of playing in Buenos Aires’ world famous Pacha, he later pursued productions in 2006. 2008 has been a breakthrough for him as Hernan Cattaneo featured his tracks on his radio show “Sequential”.
Kosmas Epsilon needs little introduction; featured on many great labels such as Audio Therapy and Alternative Route, he has gathered support from big names and tours the world successfully.
Vadim Yershov is another young artist to watch. Gathering inspiration from Montreal’s famous afterparties, just six months ago he set to producing and his first productions will be featured on Stripped and Plastic City.
“Not Yet” gathers intelligent creativity with a cosmic, discoish feel. Its glittering synths added to intriguing sounds drop into a tangy breeze. The cut is bound with allure and surprise.
“Going To East” widens the cosmic atmosphere. Thin & heavy electric chords settle a forward harmony leading towards a tune with unsettling calm.
Kosmas Epsilon tightens “Not Yet” with exciting groove. Swift and elevating, Kosmas adds surprising lifts to the original’s patterns. It conveys a delightful rhythm to unwrap on dancefloors.
Vadim Yershov implements the original “Not Yet” with strings and short synths singing like soft bells. The remix surges a proggish whisper keeping a melodious secret.
