What's there to do in experience in vegas?

I'm booking two nights at circus circus to spend with my gf who's turning 21 in a couple of weeks.
She's never been to vegas, and I've only stopped by there once for a couple of hours.
She's gonna drop acid @ circus circus, we're going to gamble a little for the hell of it.
What else is there to do/experience? We're not gonna go clubbing because no one's playing during the weekend we're going and from what I read that's the worst place to party for any EDM fan.
Any cool little spots you always visit when you go there? |

| a bunch of us are going to vegas sept 26-28 for a buddy's bday. so far from what i've heard, we need to check out seemless, drai's and rehab. |

well if you going to be doing acid, go down to the old strip, Fremont street. The whole street is covered by an LED filled pavilion that they show a bunch o crap on.
Other than that, just go up and down the strip looking for fun. there is plenty to be had. |

Freemont street in dtla is a good spot to trip out.
What nights of the week are you going? There are EDM nights @ various clubs.
Like Jet Monday nights, Body English Wednesday nights and Lavo (new club @ Palazzo) Thursday nights. |

To be honest, Vegas, although it might seem like it, is not a great place for psychedelic drugs. Especially if it's a first time there and you just turned 21. There's so much to see and do that it's just better to be waisted drunk. They love drunk people in Vegas. Drugs not so much.
Although I'm sure some people would disagree. |

Yep. One of my favorite places to stay right off strip for a decent price is The Orleans. Plus they have a shuttle that takes you right to the Harrah's in the middle of the strip. |

i would not reccommend staying at circus circus, if you have to be on the strip and cheap, i would do stratosphere or excalibur.
A bit off the strip, directly across the street from the hard rock there is a hidden gem called alexis villas. I always stay here.
If you insist on the psychedelics, definatly do freemont street, but i dont reccommend them in vegas, other substitutes are much more suitable to get the most of what vegas offers.
EDM Clubbing? Slim Chance on a typical weekend night. I think fridays have Farsheed playing at a spot in the rio. But just make it to drai's or seemless for afterhours. |
