I'm really interested in how to get my vocals to sound like theirs.
I have fl studio 8 and ableton 7 but no hardware yet... i'm getting the alesis micron, audio/midi interface, monitors, some vst's, and whatever else you would reccomend for me to get a sound like the above.

| Haven't looked, but guessing from the robot sounding voices what you'll want is voice vocoding. I know theres tutorials on how to do it in reason, shouldn't be too hard to do with your setup though. |

| There is s VST called Yellow Cheddar which comes with a preset called "overused" that does exactly what you want. I'm sure you'll find it if you Google search. |

| hey i found out how it's done. the program is free and it's called gsnap. if you go to youtube and type "g snap t pain", it shows you how to tweak the settings to get the t-pain vocal sound. |
