so my photobucket account is about to expire and for some reason the $39.95 they want to charge me for another year seems a bit pricey. for some reason i remember paying like $15 for a whole year last year. so 40.
anyone know of anything cheaper thats easy and reliable too? im also considering just buying my own domain (for a little more money i wont care), but i dunno where from. havent looked into this kinda in years so i dunno what or where the good deals are.
any info is appreciated. thanks in advance. but mostly i think im looking for my own domain. no clue what i want to do with it, but something cheap and reliable options are what im looking for. |

| Photobucket charges money? This I did not know. Also, use Flickr. If you want to go with webhosting, use Dreamhost. |

they charge money if you dont want them to show "temp exceeded limit" instead of your image. really gay.
dreamhost sounds pretty decent though... mostly id like a domain that is obviously reliable (for my own needs) and allows for a decent amount of monthly bandwidth as theres some stuff id like to share via the domain. 500gb storage + 5tb bandwidth sounds pretty damn good, unless im reading wrong. |

Dreamhost are amazing. Plus your storage and bandwidth increase incrementally all the time. |

You're reading it correctly. The disk space and bandwidth also increase on a weekly basis, by 2GB and 40GB respectively ;)
Edit: Yes, like Jake said :o |

i thought thats what i read but after drinking all day long i thought my eyes were tricking me...
hows the reliability with dreamhost though? doesnt have to be 100% but 95% is probably good enough. |

Extremely reliable. Only had a problem, I dunno, maybe 3 times? And it was sorted pretty much straight away anyway. |
